  • TypeScript, documentation and live examples

Overview

YeSvelte is an open-source UI component library for Svelte, created by Momentaj. Its components carry no fixed look: the visual theme is swappable between Tabler, built on Bootstrap, and daisyUI, built on Tailwind, so a team can change the entire interface by changing one stylesheet. It is released under the MIT licence and had 222 GitHub stars as of September 2026.

The Challenge

Svelte component libraries tend to lock a project into one design system, so changing the look means changing the components. Many also need heavy customisation, or come with thin documentation and no accessibility support.

What We Built

YeSvelte separates the components from their look. Each component is independent of any CSS framework, and the theme, Tabler or daisyUI, is one stylesheet. The library ships with documentation, live examples and TypeScript types.

Results

YeSvelte has had about 136,000 npm downloads since 2023 and has 222 GitHub stars; it was last published to npm in August 2025. It is also the component layer we reach for in our own Svelte projects.
